John read Law at University of London and was called in 1969 to the Bar of Inner Temple. He is now an accredited pupilmaster.
John has a civil litigation background and specialises in family law; child law; employment law (in particular, discrimination and unfair dismissal claims); chairities; housing; landlord and tenants; nationality, asylum, immigration and also human rights and judicial review applications.
He is a specialist in African law particularly, Ghana's customary law and other areas of Ghana's law and constitution. A member of the Ghana Bar, John speaks Akan and has an understanding of Ga.
John is a practising christian and is involved with voluntary sector activities and charitable causes.
